7-9.30pm @ Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, Bethnal Green, E2 6HG. Written by local activist, Debbie Warrener, and Louise Alexander and Peter Birch. A thought-provoking performance of stories and poetry exploring individual responses to climate change, economic collapse and biodiversity loss. The show follows three individual journeys through denial, overwhelm and despair to reconnect with our own corner of the earth and our intrinsic wild nature.

6-10pm @ Islington Ecology Centre, 191 Drayton Park, N5 1PH. The brilliant Michael Holt will be joining us as part of his Transition Culture Tour 2012. This North American guy is doing a series of concert-salons around Europe. Ticket only so email zoehutchinson "at" doctors "dot" org "dot" uk, if you want to come.
6pm: arrive, bring a dish to share ... 7-9pm: Michael will play for us ... 9pm onwards: discussion and drinks. Please bring a dish and it would be really great if you could also bring a friend who is new to Transition or interested in getting involved in our community.
***** BIKE MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP, Sun 8th July *****
2-4pm @ Islington Ecology Centre, 191 Drayton Park, N5 1PH. An indoor session covering the basics of maintenance from repairing punctures, adjusting brakes and gears to cleaning and lubricating your bike. Numbers are limited to 8 and we are asking for a small fee to cover costs only of £5 per person.
